Goodbye Greece

We spent out last two days in Corfu on the beach of course. On Tuesday after grabbing gyros we got on an hour long bus to a beach that would have been worth an 8 hour drive. We decided to rent a paddle boat rather than take the boat taxi. After spending 3 hours touring some of the most beautiful water I think you could ever see (pictured below) we came back to shore and swam around on the beach. To finish off the day we got dinner and watched the sunset than got back on the bus to go to our air bnb. Thursday got a little weird because of a booking snafu. We had booked our air bnb for the wrong number of nights and had to switch to another for one night. So in the morning we packed up and took our luggage to a restaurant that will store your luggage for free if you buy a meal. After that we decided to take a glass bottom boat tour around the island and it was amazing. We got to see lots of tropical fish. And a diver even went below the boat to attract fish and show us a GIANT lobster and an octopus. After getting back from the tour we decided that a 15 min walk to our next air bnb would be fine. And we were wrong. It was quite the walk through the heat and humidity. Luckily our destination had AC and we all just sat by it for a while. Then Micheal and I set off to find food in this much less touristy part of town, and ended up at a restaurant where the menu was only in Greek. Luckily for us the cashier spoke enough English for us to get by and we got the food and went back to the air bnb to eat. Our flight to Croatia is at 6:45am and we have a long layover in Athens so tomorrow should be a lot of fun.
